Other research interests include mid-infrared optical properties of unconventional metals and conductors, nonlinear and ultrafast optical spectroscopy of emerging materials, and cavity-based methods to control material properties.
Advisor: Alice R. Walker Research Area: Interested mostly in how to connect biological phenomena and measurements of fluorescence using computational chemistry. Interested in the mechanisms of nonradiative decay and fluorescence for molecules and proteins and how those mechanisms relate to the structure of molecules sand their interactions with the environment.
